I’ve spent thirty-five years in the care sector — as an activity coordinator, a manager, and everything in between. In that time, I watched countless families walk into care homes worried about more than their loved one’s physical health. They worried about their spirit. About whether the person they knew, with all their stories and their spark, was getting lost in the system.

That worry became personal when I lost my twin brother, Christopher. Watching how easily a person’s identity can fade into a care plan — reduced to a diagnosis, a risk assessment, a checklist — changed how I saw the work I’d given my career to.

Still Me™ was built from that loss, and for every resident who is still that same person inside. It’s an engagement platform designed to remember who someone used to be, and to make sure that identity — not just their condition — sits at the heart of their care, with the evidence to prove it.

Dominique Carrington Advisory grew out of that same conviction: that good care and good evidence shouldn’t be two separate jobs for an already-stretched team.
